Nepcon Japan 2026 Tokyo Exhibit Report

NEPCON Japan: Exhibition Overview

Theme: “Making the Difficult Easy. Japan Unix Automation.”

We introduce manufacturing challenges and practical solutions in a way that’s easy to understand—even for those who are not familiar with soldering.
The value Japan Unix provides is not limited to the price of the equipment.
From consultation, trial runs, parameter development, ramp-up, to mass-production support, visitors experienced our end-to-end support system that stays with you every step of the way.

At the venue, we offered the following:
🔹 Presentations — A simple explanation from soldering fundamentals to key points for automation.
🔹 Hands-on demo machines — See real automated soldering and verify the process on the spot.

This content was ideal not only for those considering automation,
but also for those who “don’t know where to start or who to consult.”

New Desktop Robot: UNIX-DFR Series Debuts!

Same user-friendly operation, evolved performance
A new desktop robot is here

With fieldbus support and a new heater, controllability and efficiency have evolved even further.
• Standard support for the new UH Heater
• Fieldbus compatible
(CC-Link, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
• Three types available, same as the previous model

Desktop Soldering Robots Used Across a Wide Range of Products

AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS

In recent years, modules have become more integrated, and automotive electronic components that demand safety and high reliability require the highest level of soldering quality control. Desktop soldering robots are easy to operate and can be used reliably. Even beginners can achieve the same soldering quality as skilled operators.

SMARTPHONE

Smartphones and mobile phones continue to demand higher-density PCB designs, higher performance, and thinner, lighter form factors. Desktop soldering robots can be equipped with processes optimized for various mounted components, and they are widely used even for fine-pitch soldering applications.

PHOTOVOLTAIC

Desktop soldering robots can also be used for ultrasonic soldering of small solar panels. They are also widely adopted for junction box assembly and soldering of PCBs for power conditioners.

LED LIGHT

Even LED lighting terminals and power supply PCBs that are difficult to solder can be soldered with sufficient heat while securely supporting the components using a desktop soldering robot.

Many More Products on Display!

We introduced various products and services that support “mass-production soldering,” including all-in-one packages, multi-axis robots for inline production, laser products, and more.
